Governance and Management Structure

 

Icon Preparatory School is governed by a Board of Directors (BOD). The BOD hires the superintendent and assesses the overall direction and strategy of the company.  The BOD works with the superintendent to determine the vision, mission, and goals of Icon Preparatory School. The BOD develops the governance system for the organization and has a fiduciary responsibility to protect the assets and interest of Icon Preparatory School. The board members at Icon Preparatory School follow a proactive governance model in which the members meet 3 times per year. During the interim board members are kept informed through email, postal mail, and phone conferences. BOD members were selected based on their expertise in specific areas that would be beneficial to the advancement and successful management of Icon Preparatory School.
